The purpose of this set was and is to highlight the absolute strength, courage, and beauty of BLACK WOMEN. The mainstream media doesn’t represent black women correctly. They are usually represented as loud and rude which is blasphemy and couldn’t be further from the truth. It is important to realize that even if a black woman is loud, she deserves to be, because black women have always been the least heard, and the least taken seriously.
Them, being the queens of this universe and every other one, deserve to be represented in every light, regardless of what their hobbies are, how they act, or how they speak, black women can and will be anything they want to be. With that being said, I chose to show the more vulnerable, open side, and even in “weakness” they are still the strongest beings in the multi-verse.
